 About The Vu
Established in 1975 as Columbia's premier entertainment headquarters, The Vu provides nationally acclaimed live stand-up comedy, a 10,000 square foot nightclub with four rotating house D.J.'s using the latest in sound and lighting effects, live bands on our 1,000 square foot patio, 10 TV's including a 10 ² x 12 ² big screen in our comedy room with surround sound, and incredible promotions combined with great drink specials for everyone at our three separate bars and two levels of nightlife. Déjà Vu provides a diverse menu with numerous affordable food and drink selections in the comfort of over 65 tons of ventilation, and the largest and cleanest bathrooms for any nightclub in Mid-Missouri.
Created in 2008, Inside Columbia magazine has provided a BEST DANCE CLUB category in their Best of Columbia magazine three different years, and The Vu has won 1st place all 3 years 2009, 2011, and 2012!
Déjà Vu Comedy Club combines some of stand up comedy's most recognized headliners with numerous TV & movie credits along with up and coming feature acts for a consistently hilarious show. Our club has hosted such performers as Tim Allen, Tommy Davidson, Dave Attell, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Kathleen Madigan, Dennis Leary, Bobcat Goldthwait, George Lopez, Drew Carry and most recently Steve-O to name a few. The Vu has tiered seating circled around a center stage, so no matter where you sit, you always have a great view. Reservations for our shows are highly recommended as many of our comedy shows sell out. To make a reservation, simply call 573.443.3216 and give us your name and number of people for guaranteed seats, or to purchase tickets online, simply click on the ticket symbol located on our home page or comedy calendar next to the show you want to see.
